Justin is a journalist and critic living in Brooklyn.

He is working on a book about C.L.R. James’s life and writing in America from 1938 to 1953 for Haymarket Books. 

Justin has also written for Bookforum, Jacobin, Talking Points Memo, Guernica, Brooklyn Rail, The Weeklings, Slant, San Francisco Public Press, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

He has a MA from the Cultural Reporting and Criticism program at New York University.
